Are chain restaurants required to post nutrition information?
I am real pissed. The Red Robin restaurant will not post their nutrition info. I contacted them and they said that they will do substitutions if you have dietary requirements, but I am on WW and need to calculate points. I have half a mind to report them, but to who?
I don’t think they are required to. The new Federal law that requires food companies to put allergy info on their labels has an exemption for restaurants. This is one reason for the big current controversy over McDonalds not being truthful about the presence of gluten in their fries.
